Submission Guidelines
Academic articles and essays:
The manuscript should include:
A short abstract (50-150 words)
A list of keywords
Bibliography
Style and structure:
The approximate length of the article should be between 10 and 20 pages long, including footnotes and references.
Please use the font Times New Roman, 12-point type, text spacing 1,5.
Please prepare the manuscript in Microsoft Word and submit it as .docx document (avoid PDF documents, when possible).
Poetry & Prose
Style and Structure:
For prose texts: please use the font Times New Roman, 12-point size, text spacing 1,5; the approximate length of texts should not exceed 10 pages.
Please prepare the manuscript in Microsoft Word and submit it as .docx document (avoid PDF documents, when possible).
We welcome poetry & prose in all languages (but please provide an English translation alongside the original text).
Translation of Poetry & Prose
Style and Structure:
Please prepare the manuscript in Microsoft Word and submit it as .docx document (avoid PDF documents, when possible).
We welcome translations of poetry and prose from and into any language, as long as one of the two are English.
Make sure to provide both documents – the original and the translated version.
What does Constellations accept?
Academic articles in fields of Theoretical Linguistics, Cognitive Psychology, Race & Ethnicity Studies, Gender & Sexuality Studies, Literature & Visual Arts, Critical Media Studies, Translation Studies.
Prose: original prose piece (short story, flash fiction, or something else!).
Poetry
Translation of poetry or prose.
Anonymizing the Manuscript:
To ensure that peer reviewers do not know your identity, please make sure that you remove any information in your manuscript that could identify you (such as your name and affiliation).
For communication purposes with the Editorial board please do indicate your name and affiliation in the text of the submission email.
References and Citations:
Articles should follow the original APA 7-standard. See guidelines on APA Style Blog.
