Draw me anew

“Draw Me Anew”
Draw me,
But wholly devoid of hue,
Only let your hands rest before my hair.
My lips must gleam in shadows, darkly true,
My flowing locks in pure, stretched white shall flare.
Draw,
Let my face's heat be textureless and bare,
My eyes diffuse, though sight might not remain—
Upon your pencil's tip, my eyebrows there,
Must flash!
Wrought for my life’s worth, my vital claim.
Continue then,
Let no eyelash be still,
The faded freckles linger, softly sown.
Reveal to me,
My cheek’s imploring will,
The counted pearls you know, more brightly shown.
Draw on,
Do not cease,
Keep sketching my design,
For I was sketched to reach my final end.
Yet let it be colorless, like dreams of thine...
Draw me,
Without the paint,
In shades of black, my guide...
